Game Tester – Mobile QA Job OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our remote Quality Assurance (QA) team as a Game Tester – Mobile QA. In this full-time role, you will play and rigorously test a variety of mobile games to ensure that gameplay mechanics, user experience, and overall enjoyment meet the highest industry standards. Working remotely, you will provide critical feedback that directly influences the development and improvement of new and upcoming mobile titles.
Responsibilities- Play through mobile games methodically, adhering to structured playtesting protocols and exploring all available features and scenarios.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and potential areas of confusion or frustration from a player’s perspective, ensuring all issues are clearly communicated to the QA and development teams.
- Offer both subjective and objective feedback on gameplay balance, difficulty, controls, narrative coherence, and overall fun factor to support the continuous improvement of each game.
- Assess game performance and stability across different mobile devices and operating systems, providing detailed notes on any encountered issues.
- Prepare comprehensive daily or weekly reports that summarize your playing experience, detail bug findings, and present actionable suggestions for product enhancement.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow specific instructions and testing scenarios.
- Proficiency with remote working tools and a demonstrated history of playing a wide variety of mobile games.
- Preferred background includes previous experience in game testing, user testing, or competitive gaming; however, enthusiastic and skilled players are also encouraged to apply.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and multiple up-to-date mobile devices to facilitate thorough testing across platforms.
- Strong passion for gaming and the capability to clearly articulate gameplay experiences in both written and verbal forms.
