Game Tester – Mobile QA Position OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Game Tester – Mobile QA to join our remote quality assurance team in a full-time capacity. As a Game Tester – Mobile QA, you will play a crucial role in evaluating new mobile game releases, assessing their functionality, and providing actionable feedback to help improve gaming experiences. Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly play and test mobile games across a variety of genres, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all features and levels as outlined in structured playtesting plans.
- Systematically identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies encountered during gameplay from the perspective of a typical player.
- Deliver both subjective and objective feedback on aspects such as gameplay mechanics, game balance, difficulty scaling, user interface, and narrative flow.
- Evaluate game performance and stability on multiple mobile devices, noting any hardware-specific issues or variations in user experience.
- Compile and submit detailed daily or weekly QA reports that summarize play experience, highlight discovered issues, and offer suggestions for overall product improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow step-by-step instructions for various game scenarios.
- Proficiency with remote work tools and demonstrated experience playing a broad range of mobile games on different platforms.
- Previous experience in game playtesting, user experience testing, or competitive gaming is preferred and highly regarded.
- Access to multiple modern mobile devices and a reliable internet connection to ensure seamless testing and communication.
- Strong passion for gaming and excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate observations and recommendations in written reports.
