Furniture Technician - Summary
- Performs audits, installations, repairs, and maintenance of freestanding and modular furniture in interior and exterior workspaces.
- Works closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and address last-minute needs regarding furniture relocation, removal, or installation.
- Applies finishing techniques, restores, and refurbishes various types of furniture using specialized tools and products.
- Operates company vehicles and maintains proper records to support daily operations.
- Ensures all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor communication platforms such as email and internal work orders to stay updated on project changes and client needs.
- Assist clients with last-minute furniture-related requests beyond ticketed work, maintaining professionalism and strong customer service.
- Conduct site walks to verify that workspace configurations match client specifications.
- Transport furniture to client sites, account for company vehicles, and use digital tools to ensure vehicle maintenance records are current.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance client spaces, utilizing strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Maintain a positive, respectful demeanor on-site to promote a peaceful work environment.
- Apply finishing ingredients such as paint, oil, stain, or wax, and use hand or power tools to smooth, shape, and touch up furniture surfaces.
- Assess and repair damaged furniture, recommend appropriate restoration methods, and select suitable finishes based on material and style.
- Restore, decorate, or design furniture as required, including upholstery work, stenciling, and creating new components.
- Perform other assigned projects and duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
