Furniture Installer - SummaryThe Furniture Installer is responsible for the safe and accurate installation of modular and freestanding furniture systems at client sites. This includes receiving shipments, transporting furniture, assembling and fine-tuning installations, and ensuring all work meets both manufacturer and customer standards. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions from project leads and supervisors.
Duties & Responsibilities- Assist with receiving, loading, unloading, and transporting furniture to various job sites.
- Assemble and install modular systems furniture and freestanding pieces in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and project blueprints.
- Identify and prepare product lists from blueprints and project plans to ensure all necessary components are available for installation.
- Ensure installations meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Perform fine-tuning on completed installations, including cleaning, wiping down, and leveling furniture for a polished finish.
- Take direction from Lead Installer and Supervisor for effective loading, staging, stripping, assembly, and movement of furniture on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after installation projects.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies throughout each assignment.

- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools commonly required for furniture installation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Reliable transportation required for travel to various job sites.
- Familiarity with Google Suite programs is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
