Full Stack Software Engineer
IDR is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our client's team on a contract basis in Woodland Hills, CA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who excel in agile environments and are dedicated to building robust, scalable web and mobile applications. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to drive the design and development of innovative software solutions, contributing directly to organizational growth and the advancement of industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of responsive web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
- Lead the implementation of advanced features, such as intradepartmental privacy controls, live streaming capabilities, file-sharing functionalities, custom event calendars, and proprietary email services.
- Work closely with stakeholders, fellow developers, and designers to translate business requirements into high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final product releases.
- Participate actively in agile development processes using Scrum or Kanban frameworks, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate on technical architecture decisions and support ongoing enhancements to existing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience in software development.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on web development experience; experience in the media or entertainment industry is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of experience working within agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, API integration, and software design patterns.
- Experience creating detailed wireframes and technical documentation to support development and stakeholder alignment.
- Familiarity with live streaming technologies and back-end development is highly desirable.
