Full Stack Java Developer Job OverviewARC Group is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a remote, full-time contract opportunity. The Full Stack Java Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions.
Working remotely and collaborating with teams operating in the Eastern Time Zone, the Full Stack Java Developer will engage in all phases of the software development life cycle. This includes gathering and analyzing requirements, programming, debugging, and ensuring the reliability and performance of various software applications and systems. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to both internally developed applications and third-party products.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, system analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop, program, and code robust Information Technology solutions utilizing full-stack Java/J2EE technologies.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand user and business requirements, ensuring that solutions meet specified needs.
- Document detailed system specifications and maintain accurate technical documentation for all developed solutions.
- Conduct performance testing, as well as planned and unplanned maintenance for both proprietary and commercial software applications.
- Actively participate in design and code review meetings, offering technical insight and guidance to improve overall software quality.
- Provide support for application outages, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain IT controls that safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data.
- Minimum of six years of professional experience in full-stack Java/J2EE development.
- Proficiency with Spring framework, RESTful web services, and full-stack development methodologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
- Practical knowledge of containerization tools, including Kubernetes and/or Docker.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment with distributed teams.
- Experience in the healthcare domain.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Development experience with Node.js.
