- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate framing layouts
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools
- Construct, erect, and install frameworks for walls, floors, and roofs ensuring structural integrity
- Install sheathing, sub-flooring, and roof decking to specification
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, routers) safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to meet project timelines
- Strictly adhere to all job site safety protocols and regulations
- Perform regular quality checks and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Assist with scaffolding and temporary structure setup or dismantling
- Provide mentorship to apprentice framers and share best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

- Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Completion of a recognized Carpenter Apprenticeship Program (a plus)

- Strong technical skills in measuring, cutting, blueprint interpretation, and equipment operation

- This contract role places you directly on active construction sites in Huntington Beach, CA, where you will report to the project foreman or site supervisor
