The Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in supporting warehouse and distribution operations by safely and efficiently operating a stand-up forklift. This position is responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Forklift Operator adheres to safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure that products are handled and transported accurately and securely. As a Forklift Operator, you will be expected to operate powered industrial trucks, specifically stand-up forklifts, to load and unload goods, move materials to designated storage areas, and assist with inventory management. Forklift Operator - Summary- Responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, load, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Supports inventory flow and warehouse logistics to ensure timely delivery and storage of goods.
- Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a secure workplace.
- Completes routine equipment inspections and reports issues to supervisors.
- Operate a stand-up forklift in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage racks as directed.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse facility.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of goods moved or stored.
- Conduct routine inspections of the forklift to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to complete tasks as assigned.
- Follow all company procedures and safety protocols at all times.
