Duties & Responsibilities
- Program, calibrate, and maintain access control, CCTV, burglar alarm, and fire alarm systems
- Inspect and test security and fire alarm installations for operational effectiveness and code compliance
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams for access control and fire alarm systems
- Configure, program, and perform system checkouts for new and existing installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal system downtime
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service and maintenance activities
- Utilize strong Ethernet networking and computer skills to support system integration
- Travel extensively as required for project assignments

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience with configuring, programming, and checking out security installations
- Proven understanding of access control and fire alarm wiring diagrams and best practices
- Demonstrated experience with Access Control, CCTV, Burglar Alarm, and Fire Alarm systems (including AccessXpert, Pelco, Axis, VideoXpert, Security Expert, DMP, Notifier, Andover Continuum)
- Strong Ethernet networking and MS Office Suite skills
- Solid foundation in computer usage and troubleshooting
- Basic low voltage electrical testing skills; FASA/BASA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as necessary
