The Fire Alarm & Security Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, programming, calibration, inspection, testing, and ongoing maintenance of advanced access control, CCTV, burglar alarm, and fire alarm systems within commercial environments. - Minimum of one year of experience with configuring, programming, and checking out security installations
- Proven understanding of access control and fire alarm wiring diagrams and best practices
- Demonstrated experience with Access Control, CCTV, Burglar Alarm, and Fire Alarm systems (including AccessXpert, Pelco, Axis, VideoXpert, Security Expert, DMP, Notifier, Andover Continuum)
- Strong Ethernet networking and MS Office Suite skills
- Solid foundation in computer usage and troubleshooting
- Basic low voltage electrical testing skills; FASA/BASA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as necessary
- Technically skilled in fire and security systems with a detail-oriented approach
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety
