Financial Analyst - Summary
- Serve as a primary resource for the collection, organization, and analysis of financial data.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple departments to provide financial insights and support process improvements.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems to generate accurate, timely reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to ensure organizational objectives are met.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Compile and organize revenue and expense data, projections, and financial reports to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
- Prepare and distribute financial information for internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Assist with tracking annual budgets and updating monthly forecasts, identifying potential variances or areas of improvement.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations for financial improvement by reviewing financial data and variances.
- Support other departments by gathering and presenting relevant financial data related to cost control and risk management.
- Maintain and update forecast files, ensuring clear communication of changes and updates as needed.
- Review department expense reports for accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain charts, tables, and summaries for presentations and management reports.
- Assist in monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities to align operational goals with financial objectives.
- Support the maintenance and development of Business Intelligence and Business Analytics tools and reports.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned to support the overall financial health of the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst in a standard cost or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong command of the English language, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex business and financial documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing business correspondence and presenting information effectively.
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts relevant to financial analysis, including probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft D365, Power BI, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong typing and 10-key skills.
