Financial Analyst - Summary
- Provide vital financial and operational analysis supporting key management and budgeting initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, including proformas, long-term financial planning, capital request evaluation, and service line analytics.
- Prepare annual budgets, execute monthly reconciliations, and ensure financial integrity across organizational operations.
- Deliver day-to-day financial support such as accounts payable, payroll operations, and general financial guidance to leaders and staff.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration by acting as a liaison between different teams for effective communication and project alignment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with the preparation and management of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and present financial reports to management for operational and strategic planning.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and monitor financial performance to identify variances and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to compile and analyze financial data for project and business line evaluation.
- Support payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger processes as needed, maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, including GAAP, and ensure all financial activities adhere to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution required.
- Master’s degree or MBA is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in financial management or decision support, preferably within an acute care facility or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other MS Office applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
