Financial Advisor - Summary
The Financial Advisor position is focused on delivering personalized financial planning services to a diverse client base. After completing all necessary licensing and registrations through the Career Development Program (CDP), you will be equipped to provide holistic financial guidance to clients, ensuring their financial objectives are met with integrity and professionalism. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients, understanding their unique financial needs and goals.
- Gather and analyze client information to construct comprehensive financial plans that address retirement, investments, and overall wealth management.
- Prepare and present tailored investment portfolio recommendations, ensuring alignment with clients’ risk tolerance and objectives.
- Educate clients on financial strategies and help them prepare for significant life events, including retirement planning and asset allocation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities provided by Prudential Advisors, including training sessions and joint work with experienced team members.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive compensation structure, including hourly pay during the Pre-Contract CDP Affiliate phase and commission-based earnings as a Financial Professional Associate (FPA).
- FPAs have the potential to earn average compensation ranging from $50,000 to $75,000 in commissions and bonuses in their first full year, based on performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; a college degree or equivalent work/life experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems and make sound financial recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or networking is beneficial but not required.
- Commitment to completing all required FINRA and state licensing as part of the Career Development Program.
