Responsibilities- Advise clients on financial planning strategies, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability insurance, and investment products.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet the protection and financial needs of clients, leveraging both proprietary and non-proprietary products as appropriate.
- Utilize New York Life’s Advanced Planning Group for complex case design and client support.
- Build and manage a client portfolio, maintaining long-term relationships and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.
- Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions, utilizing the company’s learning platform, and pursuing industry certifications where applicable.
- Collaborate with support teams, participate in study groups, and benefit from mentorship opportunities to enhance your expertise.
- Operate with flexibility from an office or remote setting, and choose to market under the New York Life brand or your own business name as a DBA.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, though not required.
- Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or sales is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to obtain relevant state insurance licenses and securities registrations, as required by role specialization (training and reimbursement for licensing are available).
