As a Field Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of installation, maintenance, and quality control for telecommunications and security system projects. You will lead onsite teams, direct and inspect the work of other technicians, and ensure that all tasks are performed according to industry best practices and client specifications. With your expertise, you will support the delivery of comprehensive solutions including Voice, Data, Fire Alarm, Fiber, Burglar Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Signage, Access Points, and Networking.

Field Service Technician – Telecommunications & Security (Senior, QC-Focused) Summary
- Lead and oversee field-based telecommunications and security system installation projects.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and training to technician teams.
- Support client relationships and serve as an escalation resource.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct, inspect, and audit the work performed by other technicians onsite.
- Perform hands-on installation and service tasks for telecommunications and security systems at customer locations.
- Deliver training and cross-training for technicians and business partners on client and product requirements.
- Provide regular project updates, submit deliverables, and support estimation and bidding processes.
- Act as a point of escalation for resolving client issues or escalating them appropriately.
- Operate network certifiers and ensure all work is compliant with BICSI, OSHA, and other relevant standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Technician II or in a similar technical field role.
- Proficiency in key areas such as Voice, Data, Fire Alarm, Fiber, Burglar Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Signage, Access Points, and Networking.
- Ability to operate network certifiers.
- Certifications such as BICSI Installer 2 (Copper & Fiber), OSHA 30, and LIFT are preferred or required.
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
