- Take precise measurements of worn parts to assess if reuse or replacement is necessary
- Follow schematics and service manuals to rebuild compressors to manufacturer standards
- Operate and maintain a variety of workshop tools, including welding equipment, sandblasters, band saws, and drill presses
- Interpret engineering drawings for component assembly and fabrication
- Safely use overhead cranes and forklifts to move equipment and materials
- Maintain an organized work area and comply with all safety regulations
- Provide shop-based training and guidance to customer personnel as required
