Field Service Technician Job OverviewARC Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician for a full-time position based in Miami, FL. The role involves providing expert on-site support for industrial compressed air systems to a variety of clients across South Florida. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing essential industrial equipment while ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities- Independently service and repair compressed air systems, including air compressors, filtration systems, tanks, boosters, and dryers, at client locations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain complex mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Interpret and utilize equipment diagrams and schematics to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians during field service calls, fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development.
- Promote and enforce adherence to safety standards and company best practices at all times.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service calls, diagnostics, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients, ensuring a positive customer experience in industrial environments.
- Identify opportunities for service package upgrades and communicate these effectively to customers as appropriate.
- At least 8 years of experience in technical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance roles.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct work experience with industrial compressed air systems.
- Thorough understanding of AC/DC circuits, 3-phase power systems, contactors, and relays.
- EPA Section 608 certification is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting technical schematics and equipment diagrams.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check are required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are highly desirable.
