As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in this primary care practice, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions in a primary care setting.
- Developing and implementing individualized patient care plans, including preventive care strategies.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribing medications, therapies, and other treatments in accordance with licensure and current guidelines.
- Coordinating care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Providing patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staff development activities.

- Master’s degree (MSN) in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or equivalent required for FNPs.
- Active and unrestricted California licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant.
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through ANCC or AANP, or as a Physician Assistant.
- California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing number or equivalent for Physician Assistants.
- DEA provider number (Schedule II-V), CURES registration, and NPI number.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Three (3) years of relevant experience in primary care.
- Bilingual skills are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience delivering primary care to diverse patient populations.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
