Coughran Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our established medical team. As an integral member of our practice, the Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary
- Deliver comprehensive family medicine and primary care services.
- Work across multiple established practice locations to provide coverage as needed.
- Engage with a diverse patient population, supporting ongoing community health initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including conducting physical exams, acute illness evaluations, and wellness visits.
- Collect and document patient data accurately using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and interventions according to current clinical guidelines.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice.
- Schedule and coordinate professional consultations for patients as needed.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in population health and value-based care initiatives, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, guidelines, and state and federal healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current, valid licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Certification from an accredited institution (such as AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- Experience working in a family practice, primary care, or similar clinical setting strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong clinical judgment, advanced critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with population health or value-based care models considered a plus.
