The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) will be responsible for seeing primary care and occupational health patients during scheduled clinic hours. The role requires strong clinical skills in bread-and-butter primary care procedures as well as the ability to manage occupational medicine cases. The average patient census is approximately seven patients per day, allowing for focused, individualized care. The FNP will work closely with an RN and a reliable office support team to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations. While DOT certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position, making it a welcoming opportunity for qualified family nurse practitioners who may not yet hold this certification. Board certification is also preferred and will be positively considered during the hiring process.
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) position follows a weekday schedule, specifically covering Tuesday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a dedicated lunch hour from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. This consistent schedule allows for work-life balance and predictability for both the practitioner and the patient population. Candidates should hold an active state license and DEA registration, as well as maintain a clean professional background. The credentialing timeline is efficient, with the potential for rapid onboarding within 24 hours, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
