Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) - Summary- Deliver full-spectrum family health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Promote evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement within the healthcare setting.

- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments for a variety of acute and chronic health conditions.
- Provide immunizations, preventive care, and health screenings in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Diagnose and treat common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, and minor traumas, utilizing clinical practice guidelines and collaborating with physicians as needed.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, preventive care, and positive health behaviors through both one-on-one and group sessions.
- Deliver evidence-based lectures and participate in staff in-service training to foster ongoing learning and development among healthcare staff.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams and support staff to optimize patient care and information flow.
- Identify and manage conditions requiring isolation, ensuring adherence to universal precautions and infection control protocols.
- Participate actively in staff meetings to discuss cases, share best practices, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned to support operational needs and organizational goals.

- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited academic program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a registered nurse practitioner.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by ANCC, AANP, or NCC.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Recent clinical experience with direct patient care in the specialty area, with patient contact within the last two years.
- Demonstrated ability to meet clinical competency requirements as outlined in service-specific credentialing instructions.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and patient populations.
- Exhibits leadership qualities and the ability to educate and mentor staff members.
- Adaptable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
