The role of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is an essential component in providing comprehensive family-centered healthcare services across all age groups, including infants and babies. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive team in Western New Mexico on a locum, contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly independent capacity, delivering patient-centered care across two established clinical locations with a consistent weekly schedule. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients within the full spectrum of family practice. This includes conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing individualized care plans. The successful candidate will work a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, with no weekend or holiday work required, ensuring a balanced professional and personal life. Patient census averages between 15 and 20 visits per day, allowing ample time for quality patient interactions and holistic care delivery.
Applicants must hold an active nurse practitioner license in New Mexico and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
