Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a private medical group in a full-time capacity. The Family Nurse Practitioner plays a critical role in providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all backgrounds. Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose adult patients from diverse backgrounds with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using Greenway Primesuite EMR.
- Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans, including the prescription of medications when appropriate.
- Order laboratory tests, medical imaging, or provide referrals to external specialists as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Offer guidance and support to staff, leveraging medical expertise and clinical experience.
- Collaborate closely with providers, medical assistants, and practice management staff as an integral member of the healthcare team.
- Manage a daily patient caseload, with the ability to see up to 15 patients per day in a clinic and private practice setting.
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and current board certification required.
- Minimum of one year experience in family medicine or at least three years of overall Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Familiarity and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Greenway Primesuite.
- Ability to participate in on-call duties on a rotating basis (light/varied, a few days per month).
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (required).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Current board certification (required).

Employment Type and Schedule
