Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FM/OB) - Summary- Join a high-performing medical team within an award-winning integrated healthcare system
- Serve a large and diverse patient base in a popular desert resort region
- Deliver both family medicine and obstetric care, ensuring continuity for patients across all life stages

- Deliver obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Perform routine and complex deliveries, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Develop individualized care plans for patients, promoting wellness and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation within electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, family planning, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Engage in community outreach and health promotion activities as part of the health system’s mission

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- Fellowship or significant experience in Obstetrics preferred
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP)
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the relevant state or the ability to obtain one
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP certification preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Experienced in both family medicine and obstetric care, including performing deliveries
