As a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO), Outpatient Primary Care team member, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier healthcare services. The role centers on outpatient-only responsibilities, eliminating the need for hospital privileges or procedures, and ensuring a manageable patient load. You’ll utilize a modern electronic medical records system (EPIC EMR) for efficient documentation and care coordination, and you will contribute to a collaborative, value-based care approach that prioritizes patient education and preventive health strategies.

Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO), Outpatient Primary Care - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages in a clinical setting
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments to develop individualized care plans
- Manage chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and COPD, with an emphasis on prevention and patient education
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, including respiratory infections, musculoskeletal complaints, minor injuries, and gastrointestinal issues
- Provide annual physicals, immunizations, health screenings, and risk assessments as part of a preventive health strategy
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation, patient tracking, and care coordination
- Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes
- Maintain timely and professional communication with patients, families, and staff members
- Promote a culture of safety, respect, and continuous quality improvement

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board certification in Family Medicine (MD or DO)
- Active Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and DEA licensure, or willingness to obtain
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Experience providing outpatient primary care, with a track record of delivering patient-centered, value-based care
- Strong commitment to evidence-based medicine, communication, and teamwork
