Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions across the lifespan.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decision-making.
- Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient counseling for wellness and disease prevention.
- Prescribe medications and coordinate specialty referrals as needed.
- Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with current clinical guidelines and organizational policies.
- Engage in ongoing continuing medical education (CME) to remain current in the field of family medicine.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO).
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in providing primary care across all age groups.
