As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for managing a steady patient census, collaborating with experienced support staff, and utilizing advanced electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline patient care. The primary care model is tailored to reduce emergency room visits and hospital admissions, allowing you to focus on proactive, comprehensive healthcare delivery. This position offers the unique opportunity to work as the sole provider in a well-equipped outpatient facility, supported by certified medical assistants (CMA) and a dedicated office staff. In addition, expedited onboarding and covered travel expenses ensure a smooth transition into the role, enabling you to focus on patient care from day one.
Our ideal candidate is board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (FM/ABFM/ABIM), holds an active state medical license, has a current DEA certification, and is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Previous experience working with EMR systems, specifically ECW, and comfort with a patient panel averaging 20 patients per day are highly desirable. The position requires the ability to work Monday through Friday, with a commitment to at least four days per week, offering flexibility while maintaining continuity of care for patients. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in an outpatient facility
- Manage an average daily patient census of 20 individuals
- Perform bread-and-butter primary care procedures, focusing on preventive medicine and chronic disease management
- Utilize ECW electronic medical record (EMR) for patient documentation and workflow management
- Work collaboratively with a team including CMAs and full office support staff
- Serve as the sole provider, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care
- Contribute to a clinical model designed to reduce ER visits and hospital admissions
- Participate in expedited onboarding and orientation processes

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board certification in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Active and unrestricted state medical license
- Current DEA certification (or willingness to transfer as required)
- BLS certification
- Experience with outpatient care and EMR systems (ECW preferred)
- Ability to manage a patient panel of approximately 20 patients per day
