Family Medicine Physician / Internal Medicine Physician (MD, DO) Position OverviewOptigy, a physician-owned, multi-specialty clinic with a strong 50-year reputation, is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician (MD, DO) for a permanent, full-time outpatient position in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient setting as a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician (MD, DO).
- Optional inpatient care opportunities are available for those interested in expanding their clinical practice.
- Maintain a standard workweek of 36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours, supporting a balanced schedule for full-time employment.
- Provide patient-centered, evidence-based medical care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in productivity and quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic performance.
- Contribute to the collegial and inclusive culture of the clinic, supporting both patient and team well-being.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required.
- Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Virginia.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive patient and team relationships.
