Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive physical exams, diagnostic assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans for patients of all ages. You will also play a vital role in managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and COPD, as well as diagnosing and treating acute conditions like respiratory infections and minor injuries. Preventative care, including immunizations, health risk assessments, screenings, and annual physicals, will be central to your practice, ensuring your patients are well-supported in maintaining optimal health.
Utilization of EPIC EMR is an important aspect of the position, streamlining documentation, care coordination, and referral management. The ideal candidate for the Family Medicine Physician (FM) position will be board certified in Family Medicine, possess an active CSR and DEA (or be willing to obtain them), and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Massachusetts. Prior experience in outpatient primary care and a commitment to value-based, patient-centered care are essential for success in this role.
