Family Medicine Physician
Blue Ridge Health is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team of community-focused healthcare professionals. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Blue Ridge Health is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and affordable care to diverse patient populations. This full-time opportunity is based at our Macon County Health Center, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outpatient care while supporting the organization’s mission to improve health, inspire hope, and advance healing in Western North Carolina.
As a Family Medicine Physician, you will collaborate with a multi-specialty provider group, including pediatricians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, counselors, dentists, nutritionists, and pharmacists. This collaborative approach ensures that patients receive well-rounded care and have access to a wide range of medical services. As part of our commitment to serving the needs of our community, the majority of our patient base consists of individuals who are classified as low-income, making your work especially impactful and meaningful.
Blue Ridge Health is also recognized as a Teaching Health Center, one of only two in North Carolina. We actively participate in the training and education of future healthcare professionals, including Family Medicine Residents through the Mountain Area Health Education Center Family Medicine Residency Program and medical students from various institutions. Physicians who join our team are expected to have a strong interest in medical education and to actively contribute to the growth and development of emerging healthcare providers.
