Family Medicine Physician Job OverviewAs a Family Medicine Physician in Whiteville, NC, you will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services in an established private practice setting. This full-time role is dedicated to outpatient care, focusing on providing patient-centered services to individuals and families across all ages. Responsibilities- Provide primary care consultations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment for patients of all ages.
- Manage chronic and acute medical conditions utilizing evidence-based practices in a 100% outpatient environment.
- Develop individualized care plans, perform routine physical exams, and promote preventive health strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and practice policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
- Foster positive patient relationships by providing compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM).
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in North Carolina.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
