Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) Job OverviewAccess Healthcare Multi-Specialty Group is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our established and growing outpatient practice. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, working alongside a collaborative group that includes another physician and a nurse practitioner. The role ensures a supportive work environment and access to advanced onsite resources, making it an excellent opportunity for those committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Deliver full-scope family medicine services, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses for patients across the lifespan.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate closely with other providers, including a fellow physician and a nurse practitioner, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Utilize on-site digital imaging and laboratory services for timely and accurate patient assessment and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Participate in phone call coverage for practice patients on a rotational basis (1:4), handled from home, to ensure continuity of care after hours.
- Promote patient education and preventive health strategies to support overall community wellness.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in family medicine.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Family Medicine.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
- Eligible for or in possession of a valid medical license to practice as a Family Medicine Physician.
- Experience in an outpatient or primary care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable working with digital imaging and laboratory technologies.
This is a full-time position with regular office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. There are no required weekend hours, promoting a healthy work-life balance for the Family Medicine Physician.
