Facilities Maintenance Technician - Summary
- Responsible for maintaining building systems and equipment in good working order
- Performs routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency response as needed
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment
- Inspect, repair, and replace lighting fixtures and related components
- Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations as required
- Handle minor electrical repairs and routine inspections of electrical systems
- Conduct regular facility safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards
- Perform grounds and security maintenance to ensure an orderly and safe environment
- Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and adhere to safety protocols
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations to ensure safety and minimize disruptions
- Follow all organizational and Facilities Department policies and procedures
- Comply with OSHA and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues and demonstrate high levels of cooperation
- Assemble and relocate furniture as needed to support operational needs
- Lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds as part of routine duties

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a closely related field
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to perform routine plumbing and minor electrical repairs
- Knowledge of facility safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
