Executive Chef - Summary
The Executive Chef is responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations and plays a key role in menu design, team leadership, quality assurance, and cost management. The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience from fine dining or luxury hospitality, demonstrating mastery in both classic and modern cooking techniques. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and execute creative fine dining menus that reflect the vision and standards of the restaurant.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse kitchen staff, including sous chefs and line cooks.
- Maintain impeccable standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency across all menu items.
- Oversee all daily kitchen operations, including preparation, service, and expediting.
- Implement and manage food and labor cost controls in alignment with budget objectives.
- Source and select premium, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, managing supplier relationships for optimal quality.
- Enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness practices in accordance with health regulations and company policy.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management and ownership to ensure a cohesive and elevated guest experience.
- Stay current with culinary trends and proactively integrate innovative ideas and techniques into the kitchen and menu offerings.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef within fine dining or luxury hospitality settings.
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in both classic and modern cooking techniques, spanning a variety of cuisines.
- Proven leadership skills, with strong communication and the ability to effectively manage kitchen operations and staff.
- Demonstrated success in managing kitchen budgets, inventory, and food cost controls.
