ETL Architect - Summary
- Serve as a technical leader within the Data & Analytics team, focusing on designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes and data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain scalable data architectures supporting AI, analytics, and reporting initiatives.
- Apply your expertise in cloud-based ecosystems, particularly with Snowflake, dbt, and AWS, to deliver innovative solutions in a healthcare setting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced ETL architectures and workflows that align with business and technical requirements.
- Develop semantic layers and data models to support new AI-powered tools, chatbots, and business intelligence dashboards.
- Work with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, AWS, SSIS, Databricks, or Fabric, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake and dbt.
- Participate in architectural design sessions, code reviews, and technical presentations to ensure best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
- For Epic-focused profiles: Navigate Epic systems, including Clarity and Caboodle, providing hands-on expertise in healthcare data workflows and integration.
- For AI/Data-focused profiles: Lead the development of data models and semantic layers optimized for AI, LLMs, agentic models, and chatbot solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and technical excellence.
- Support ongoing enhancements, issue resolution, and project delivery within an agile, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8-10+ years of experience in ETL architecture, data engineering, or development roles, preferably in a healthcare or enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise with Snowflake, dbt, and AWS is highly preferred; candidates with SSIS, Databricks, or Fabric experience and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies are welcome.
- Epic-focused candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with Epic systems (Clarity, Caboodle); Epic certifications are a significant advantage.
- AI/Data-focused candidates should have a strong track record in building semantic layers and data models for AI, dashboards, and LLMs.
- Exceptional communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
