The ERP Functional Consultant (PeopleSoft HCM, CAPPS) is a critical role responsible for providing advanced consultative and functional expertise within a statewide enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment. This full-time position centers on supporting the CAPPS program, specifically focusing on the Fluid User Interface upgrade and CAPPS HR/Payroll (HR/PY) functional areas. As a senior-level consultant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system configuration, testing, and ongoing post-upgrade support, contributing to the continuous improvement and operational excellence of the organization.
In this role, the ERP Functional Consultant (PeopleSoft HCM, CAPPS) partners closely with both functional and technical stakeholders to deliver configuration solutions, change management initiatives, and troubleshooting expertise. You will play a vital part in overseeing the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) configuration, ensuring accurate user and role management, and maintaining notification and testing protocols. The position demands a strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2, particularly within the CAPPS HR/Payroll module, and requires a hands-on approach to all phases of the upgrade and ongoing support cycles.

ERP Functional Consultant (PeopleSoft HCM, CAPPS) - Summary- Senior-level functional consulting role centered on the statewide CAPPS ERP Program
- Key focus on Fluid User Interface upgrade and HR/Payroll (HR/PY) module expertise
- Collaborates with technical and functional teams to drive configuration, testing, and post-upgrade support
- Ensures compliance with state and federal policies impacting human resources and payroll processes
- Supports workforce administration and HR security setup
- Lead and support the upgrade of the ERP system to the Fluid User Interface, including detailed planning, analysis, comprehensive testing, and deployment
- Deliver senior-level functional consulting and ongoing support for the CAPPS program
- Oversee Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) configuration, user/role management, notification settings, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate and execute end-to-end testing, including system integration, user acceptance, accessibility validation, and mobile responsiveness checks
- Support and optimize CAPPS HR/PY functional responsibilities, including workforce administration and HR security setup
- Work collaboratively with IT and business teams to develop and implement configuration changes and process improvements
- Provide post-upgrade support and address user inquiries and technical issues as needed
