The role of an ERP Functional Consultant (CAPPS) offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in statewide enterprise resource planning systems, specifically the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS). As an ERP Functional Consultant (CAPPS), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and functionality of a statewide ERP platform by delivering expert-level support and guidance across multiple modules and integration points.

As a key member of the ERP support team, the ERP Functional Consultant (CAPPS) will be responsible for acting as the first line of Level 2 functional support. This involves addressing and resolving the most challenging system configuration issues, data inconsistencies, workflow problems, and module-specific concerns that impact high-profile agencies with statutory service requirements. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting technical challenges, analyzing integration points, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions.

In this full-time position, the ERP Functional Consultant (CAPPS) will also support the investigation of integration and interface issues, including API connections, data imports and exports, and middleware troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge of tools such as App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects, as well as a thorough understanding of system configuration and security best practices, including NIST standards and multi-tenancy considerations for statewide ERP deployments.
