The ERP Financials Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering expert-level support and consulting services for statewide enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly focusing on financial modules such as General Ledger, Commitment Control, Budgeting, and Cash Receipts. As an integral member of a dedicated team, the ERP Financials Analyst is responsible for the configuration, testing, and optimization of these critical financial modules within the ERP platform. ERP Financials Analyst - Summary
- Expert consulting and support for statewide ERP financial modules including General Ledger, Commitment Control, Budgeting, and Cash Receipts.
- Lead system configuration, process improvements, and change management activities to enhance financial operations.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure optimal use of ERP systems across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and security standards while supporting system integrations and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ERP financial modules, delivering advanced consulting and technical support.
- Configure, test, and optimize General Ledger, Commitment Control, Budgeting, and Cash Receipts modules within the ERP system.
- Lead and participate in business process improvements, ensuring system efficiency and compliance with current policies.
- Oversee integrations with other systems, manage release cycles, and execute change management initiatives.
- Provide end-user training, develop documentation, and support reporting activities related to financial modules.
- Utilize tools such as App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects for system enhancements and support.
- Monitor and support batch job execution, including oversight of scheduling tools like Run My Jobs (RMJ).
- Maintain adherence to security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy requirements for the ERP instance.
