Equipment Operator - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate excavation machinery for plumbing and utility installations, including digging trenches and preparing job sites.
- Perform new construction slab work and outside utility installation.
- Assist with grease trap installation and service installation support as required.
- Collaborate with plumbing crews to install pipe and perform general support tasks.
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance to ensure machinery remains safe and functional.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members to ensure project goals are met efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in excavation, underground utility work, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
