Equipment Maintenance Technician - Summary- Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a variety of industrial equipment in a commercial laundry plant setting.
- Performs both routine preventive maintenance and urgent repairs to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Monitors equipment performance and addresses issues such as jams, missing belts, and faulty components.
- Collaborates with engineering teams and external vendors for technical support as needed.
- Perform scheduled and non-scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
- Ensure timely, high-quality completion of maintenance tasks and repairs for conveyor and overhead rail systems.
- Assist technical and mechanical staff, including external vendors, with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- Accurately maintain maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and newly identified problems.
- Communicate equipment status and potential production impacts to production supervisors promptly.
- Identify and correct equipment issues such as jams, bad or missing belts, and missing ironer tape.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tag out and confined space entry protocols.
