Epic Reporting Business Analyst (Revenue Cycle) – Full-Time Remote Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Epic Reporting Business Analyst to join our dynamic Data & Analytics team. In this essential role, you will leverage your expertise in Epic reporting tools and business intelligence to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards for Revenue Cycle operations. As an Epic Reporting Business Analyst, you will collaborate directly with operational leaders and stakeholders, playing a pivotal part in informing data-driven decisions and advancing our organization’s analytics capabilities.
As a fully remote Epic Reporting Business Analyst, you will engage with both technical and non-technical teams to identify reporting needs, develop innovative solutions using Epic Cogito and other BI platforms, and ensure robust data-driven support for leadership. This position offers the chance to work with advanced Epic reporting technologies in a large-scale healthcare setting, contributing significantly to revenue cycle performance and organizational efficiency.
Your role as an Epic Reporting Business Analyst will focus on creating, validating, and maintaining comprehensive reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI metrics, all tailored to meet the evolving needs of our healthcare operations. You will apply your deep understanding of healthcare data, revenue cycle workflows, and business intelligence best practices to design meaningful reporting assets. Additionally, you will support end users in maximizing self-service analytics tools, troubleshoot data issues, and mentor junior analysts on reporting best practices and optimization initiatives.
Working as an Epic Reporting Business Analyst provides you with a unique platform to influence reporting strategies and analytics standards across the organization. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and maintain Epic Reporting Workbench, Radar, and RW SQL reports
- Design and build dashboards and analytics solutions utilizing Epic Cogito and other business intelligence platforms
- Gather requirements from Revenue Cycle and operational teams, translating business needs into reporting solutions
- Create and manage scorecards, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) metrics
- Analyze reporting requests, determining the most effective reporting tools and approaches
- Support end users with self-service analytics tools and reporting functionalities
- Collaborate with application and security teams to ensure proper report access and data protection
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and investigate data discrepancies
- Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of reporting excellence and best practices
- Participate in ongoing initiatives to modernize and optimize reporting processes

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or related field
- At least 2 years of direct experience developing Epic Reporting Workbench reports and Radar dashboards
- Proficient in SQL with demonstrated experience writing complex queries for large data sets
- Experience working with Epic Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, or healthcare data warehousing solutions
- Proven Revenue Cycle reporting expertise
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, financial workflows, and reporting requirements
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions
- Experience creating executive, operational, and financial reports
