Epic Application Analyst - Summary
- Serve as the primary resource for the configuration, build, and support of Epic modules related to specialty pharmacy, population health, and ambulatory care.
- Work collaboratively with clinical, technical, and project management teams to optimize pharmacy workflows within the Epic environment.
- Participate in the implementation of new functionalities and ongoing support initiatives to ensure seamless operation of Epic systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Configure, build, and support Epic modules, focusing on Compass Rose Specialty Pharmacy, Population Health, and Willow Ambulatory.
- Collaborate with project managers, clinicians, and technical teams to design and optimize workflows for specialty pharmacy operations.
- Engage in project planning, testing, and validation activities to ensure timely and accurate implementation of Epic solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems to senior analysts or Epic support as necessary.
- Document issues, resolutions, and workflow changes to maintain clear records for future reference and compliance.
- Assist with the integration of specialty pharmacy workflows into the existing Epic infrastructure to support operational efficiency and clinical excellence.
- Participate in user training and provide ongoing support to clinical staff and pharmacy teams as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of three years of Epic build and support experience, preferably in pharmacy-related projects.
- Certification in Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Specialty Pharmacy (Compass Rose), or Epic Population Health highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with specialty or ambulatory pharmacy Epic projects.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, with the ability to translate operational requirements into effective Epic build solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
