Epic Analyst (HB) - Summary
- Responsible for the technical support, optimization, and administration of Epic Hospital Billing applications.
- Collaborates with IT and application development teams to ensure technology standards and best practices are upheld.
- Acts as an Epic subject matter expert, supporting hardware, software, and network systems in a hospital environment.
- Contributes to the healthcare organization’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care through innovative technology solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, install, and deploy Epic Hospital Billing applications and related technologies.
- Provide technical consulting services to application development teams and end-users regarding Epic system optimization and performance.
- Support Windows operating systems on desktops and laptops, perform hardware troubleshooting, and monitor application performance.
- Oversee system imaging, ensure network and telecommunications support, and address Active Directory group policy and security issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement, administer, and optimize IT solutions in a healthcare setting.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, user experience, and operational outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Epic Analyst or similar role in a healthcare environment.
- Active Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Certification is required upon application.
- Familiarity with general ledger and collection vendor integrations within Epic environments.
- Associate’s degree in Information Systems or Business Administration preferred; high school diploma with three years of relevant experience considered.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading Epic-related technologies and applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
