The Enterprise Architect position is a strategically important role responsible for shaping and guiding the technological direction of organizations, particularly those in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a critical part in defining and maintaining technology standards, ensuring that all business solutions align cohesively with enterprise-wide architecture strategies. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be instrumental in developing and documenting architecture standards that encompass computer, network, data integration, and software systems. You will play a central role in ensuring that technology initiatives are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the organization’s vision and goals. The Enterprise Architect will also be responsible for leading the transition from legacy systems to advanced, future-state architectures, supporting innovation and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
Individuals in this role are expected to have deep hands-on experience with enterprise architecture methodologies, such as TOGAF, as well as a proven track record implementing integration technologies and enterprise applications. Your expertise will be essential in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise technology solutions. You will communicate architecture standards, develop best practices, and foster a culture of architectural discipline throughout the organization. Additionally, you will oversee proof of concept activities, draft whitepapers to inform major technology decisions, and develop metrics that evaluate the impact of architectural initiatives.

Enterprise Architect - Summary- Defines and maintains enterprise-wide technology standards and architectural frameworks.

- Experience with enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF.
- Proven expertise in integration technologies.
- At least 5 years of experience implementing enterprise applications, including Master Data Management or Business Intelligence/Analytics systems.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications development, software development life cycles, and enterprise technology design and development.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, open communication style.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture and technology transformation.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding large-scale technology projects and transition plans.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
