The Enterprise Architect position is a strategically important role responsible for shaping and guiding the technological direction of organizations, particularly those in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be instrumental in developing and documenting architecture standards that encompass computer, network, data integration, and software systems. The Enterprise Architect will also be responsible for leading the transition from legacy systems to advanced, future-state architectures, supporting innovation and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
Individuals in this role are expected to have deep hands-on experience with enterprise architecture methodologies, such as TOGAF, as well as a proven track record implementing integration technologies and enterprise applications. Your expertise will be essential in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise technology solutions. You will communicate architecture standards, develop best practices, and foster a culture of architectural discipline throughout the organization. Additionally, you will oversee proof of concept activities, draft whitepapers to inform major technology decisions, and develop metrics that evaluate the impact of architectural initiatives.
