ENT Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations related to ENT concerns.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of ENT conditions under the supervision of ENT physicians.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Perform minor in-office procedures within the scope of practice and training.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), with eligibility to practice in California.
- Completion of an accredited PA or NP program.
- Certification by the NCCPA (for PA) or AANP/ANCC (for NP), as applicable.
- Previous experience in ENT, otolaryngology, or related specialties preferred, but not required.
