Engineering Technician - Summary- Support engineering and manufacturing processes through data entry, quoting, and ERP management.
- Utilize technical knowledge to interpret drawings and create accurate quotes.
- Contribute to operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with team members to drive process improvements and meet project deadlines.
- Interpret and analyze customer-supplied technical drawings and blueprints to ensure project accuracy.
- Perform data entry and maintain records in quoting software and ERP systems, such as Paperless Parts and Dynamics.
- Prepare and generate detailed, accurate quotes for manufacturing projects.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of materials used in the manufacturing process and their applications.
- Apply knowledge of laser and press brake operations to support production requirements.
- Assess machine capabilities and optimize their use for efficient workflow.
- Leverage proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for documentation and analysis.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
