Endocrinologist (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and treat a spectrum of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic conditions
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Order, interpret, and manage lab results, imaging, and diagnostic testing
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and the use of diabetes technologies such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Background in Internal Medicine required
- Prior clinical experience as an Endocrinologist (no fellows considered)
- Active medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- DEA license or eligibility required
- Experience in value-based care preferred but not required
