Endocrinologist (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and other metabolic disorders
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans for patients
- Order, interpret, and act upon laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication use, and diabetes technologies such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps
- Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and protocol development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including nurse practitioners, podiatrists, pharmacists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
- Support a small patient panel (12-16 patients per day) to provide focused and personalized care
- Engage in minimal hospital rounding when required (site dependent)
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive base salary starting at $300,000, with bonus structure available
- Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Background in Internal Medicine required
- Prior clinical experience in endocrinology (no fellows; post-training experience required)
- Active medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA license or eligibility
- Experience in value-based care preferred but not required
