As a core member of a multidisciplinary team, the Endocrinologist (MD/DO) will collaborate closely with medical assistants, schedulers, pharmacists, social workers, and advanced practitioners to deliver patient-centered, longitudinal care. Endocrinologist (MD/DO) - Summary- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for endocrine and metabolic disorders
- Focus on proactive disease management and complication prevention within a value-based care setting
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and other metabolic disorders
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment and disease management plans for each patient
- Order, interpret, and act on laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results
- Educate patients and their families about disease processes, medications, and the use of diabetes technologies such as continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps
- Participate in clinical protocol development and quality improvement initiatives
- Work with a small daily patient panel to ensure quality, personalized care (averaging 12-16 patients per day)
- Collaborate with specialty support, including nurse practitioners, podiatrists, pharmacists, and social workers
- Engage in minimal hospital rounding as required
- Competitive base salary starting at $300,000, with potential for bonuses based on experience and performance

- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Background in Internal Medicine
- Active medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Current DEA license, or eligibility
- Prior clinical experience required (not open to fellows)
- Experience in value-based care is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated expertise in managing continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and advanced diabetes technologies
- Experience working with geriatric or complex chronic patient populations highly desirable
- Strong commitment to patient education, quality improvement, and evidence-based medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Desire to work within a multidisciplinary, patient-centered environment
- Clinic-based, full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No night or weekend shifts required
- Minimal hospital rounding depending on site location
- Multidisciplinary team includes medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, social workers, pharmacists, and additional specialty support
- Strong focus on proactive health management and prevention of complications for high-risk populations
