We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Endocrinologist (MD/DO) to join our multidisciplinary specialty care team in Chicago. This full-time position offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes while advancing your career in a value-based care environment. As an Endocrinologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing both consultative and longitudinal care to individuals with complex endocrine and metabolic disorders, with a strong focus on proactive disease management and prevention of complications.

In this Endocrinologist (MD/DO) role, you will work in an outpatient, clinic-based setting supported by a dynamic care coordination team and advanced technology. The practice model emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, offering integration with professionals such as medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, social workers, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and podiatrists. This collaborative environment ensures comprehensive patient care and a manageable daily patient panel, allowing you to focus on high-quality outcomes and personalized treatment.

Patients served in this role primarily include those with diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and other metabolic disorders, many of whom are geriatric or have complex chronic conditions. The Endocrinologist (MD/DO) will develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and educate patients and their families on disease management and the use of new diabetes technologies such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the development of clinical protocols as part of our commitment to advancing care standards.

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no nights or weekends required, providing an excellent work-life balance. Hospital rounding is minimal and site-dependent, and you will benefit from a supportive team dedicated to both patient care and your professional growth. As our organization continues to expand its innovative approach to chronic care management, you’ll find ongoing opportunities for leadership development and advancement within the practice.

The ideal candidate will have completed an Internal Medicine residency and be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. Prior clinical experience in endocrinology is required, as well as an active or eligible medical and DEA license. Experience with value-based care, geriatric patients, CGM technologies, insulin pumps, and managing complex chronic populations is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
