Endocrinologist
We invite applications for a dedicated and skilled Endocrinologist to join a well-established outpatient practice in the Hudson Valley region of New York. This full-time, hospital-employed position is designed for a physician seeking to provide high-quality endocrine care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The role is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about delivering comprehensive care to diverse and sometimes medically underserved populations, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and the support of an integrated healthcare system.
The Endocrinologist will be instrumental in evaluating and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including but not limited to diabetes, thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis. Working in a 100% outpatient setting, the successful candidate will perform initial consultations, routine follow-ups, and manage advanced endocrine technologies such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs). The environment emphasizes teamwork, continuous quality improvement, and patient education, with a focus on chronic disease management and lifestyle modification.
In addition, our team values strong partnerships with primary care physicians and other specialists, ensuring seamless continuity of care. The Endocrinologist will be responsible for ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies, documenting all clinical interactions through the EPIC electronic medical record system, and participating in community outreach and quality initiatives. The position is primarily outpatient-focused with minimal call responsibilities, allowing for a healthy work-life balance and the opportunity to engage in regional health programs.
This role is ideally suited for a physician who is board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, with completed fellowship training and an accredited medical degree (MD or DO). Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure and hospital credentialing in New York State. A demonstrated commitment to serving in rural or underserved communities is highly valued, as is an interest in telehealth services for expanded patient access.
The compensation package is highly competitive, including a guaranteed base salary with productivity-based incentives. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off (PTO), continuing medical education (CME) allowance, retirement plan options, occurrence-based malpractice insurance, as well as potential relocation assistance and sign-on bonus. The practice offers a collegial, supportive work environment with meaningful opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
The Hudson Valley region is renowned for its scenic beauty, vibrant cultural scene, and recreational opportunities throughout all four seasons. Residents enjoy access to hiking, arts, and local attractions, fostering a strong sense of community and quality of life.
